AIMS Control Matrix

The AIMS Control Matrix provides a hierarchical visualization of ISO 42001:2023 AI Management System requirements and their corresponding Annex A Controls. This visualization helps organizations understand the relationships between management system objectives and their corresponding controls. Not all controls listed here are required to be used, an organisation can design and implement their own contols if additional controls are necessary in order to appropriately treat risk.

Understanding the Visualization​

  • Nodes: Represent sections and subsections of ISO 42001:2023 AI Managment System
  • Lines: Show hierarchical relationships between the AI Management System requirements and the Annex A Controls
  • Blue Dots: Indicate connection points
  • Text Labels: Show section names and associated controls
  • Annex A Controls: Listed under their respective AI Management System requirements prefixed with the A.
